This masterpiece of mosaic has been made by one of the local Handicap artisan in the City of
Madaba. From it's massive size, You could imagine  the time taken to produce this art. This
beautiful mosaic piece could be placed just over your fireplace in your living room or almost
anywhere inside your home.

The original Tree of Life Mosaic is found in the audience room of the bath house at Hisham's Palace
located five km north of Jericho in the West Bank.
The palace was built on the northern outskirts of Jericho, then an imperial domain, in 743–744 CE by Al-
Walid ibn Yazid during the caliphate of his predecessor Hisham ibn Abd al-Malik, who ruled the Umayyad
empire from 723 until his death in 743. It was modeled on a Roman bath house and was covered with
exquisite colored mosaics and stucco.
